the french designer behind MofuMofu. I love creating whimsical, narrative, yet sophisticated patterns for everyday objects and home decor : the “ludique chic” style as I call it ! I am inspired by animals, travels, food and art history.

MofuMofu is a japanese word mimicking the sound that you make when petting a small furry animal, just like the flying squirrel of our logo ! It evokes the sweetness and warmth that I put into my patterns, as well as a spirit of exploration and adventure that urges you to discover the wider foreign world.

For me, each design begins with pencil and paper, or sometimes by carving little items for block printing, before digitally adding the final touch !
